Singing makes you happy (follow through the 4 pages)
Singing makes you healthy (and harmonious?)

How about an "impromptu" BCS concert like this ?

Rehearsal info:  John Fletcher's Music Site is an excellent resource of mp3 files. Originally 'free' to use (although donations were requested to help it grow), this site now has two tiers of subscription: free and paid annually. Check the site for more info. You can also find out more on the John Fletcher Facebook page.

John Hooper's excellent site  www.learnchoralmusic.co.uk/ has a wide selection of midi files.  I encourage you to use these for any other music you may be singing as they have a wide variety of choral music from the sublime to the impossible!

Another excellent site for practice files is Choralia.net.  A small donation is requested when you first use it, but this is not essential. Members will be sent an email link ahead of rehearsals, with full instructions provided.

The Royal Free Music Society website provides parts for the White 100 Carols book and can be found here 100 Carols for Choirs.

Good quality recordings of much choral music can be found on Spotify.  You have to register to use this service and have to be a Facebook member but it is free if you do not mind the occasional advert.  It is well recommended as a source of all classical music.  It works on the principle that you will like some of the music enough to buy it, but there is no compulsion.  To use Spotify on a mobile phone you need the paid version or listen to music at random!  To register with Spotify just follow the link -http://www.spotify.com/uk/get-spotify/overview/

You can find videos of many pieces (of variable quality) on www.youtube.com if you do a Google search.  As an example type in keywords such as such as Schubert Mass youtube.
